Last week we held our Winter Celebration and Nativity at Broughton St.Mary’s Church! First our P1-3 pupils presented their Nativity performance, and performed their songs and readings so well!
Then our P4-P7 pupils performed their Winter Concert. The diversity of our school was well and truly shared, with songs from several different religions and cultures represented. The children sang beautifully and the concert was enhanced with contributions from our P7 brass players, P7 cellists and P4-P5 choir!
Thanks to Mrs Rushforth and Mrs Clark for all their organisation of these events, and our staff and pupils for putting in the practise to make the event a success! Thanks also to Broughton St. Mary’s Church for providing us with such a beautiful venue, and for supporting us with technical help!
Many children will receive new devices over the holidays, and will be spending more time online than usual. This poster gives some specific and up-to-date tactics that parents/carers can set up before the children receive the device. We hope you find it useful.
This is a gentle reminder that our Parent Council Winter Online Raffle for grown ups (https://bit.ly/bps-raffle) is currently live but please enter by 10pm on Thursday 14th December.
£2 per ticket and there are 40+ amazing prizes to be won – £50 voucher, a box of wine, a night stay for two, high tea, art work etc etc. All funds raised go towards the benefits of pupils at Broughton Nursery and Primary school. Thank you!
