Pupil Voice

pupil-voice

There are many ways that we encourage pupil voice in our school.

Pupil Council
The Pupil Council has representatives from P2 to P7 who are elected by their classmates. They are involved in organising events for all pupils, running competitions and raising funds to extend and improve play equipment for pupils. They listen to pupil concerns and work cooperatively to achieve solutions.

House captain badges

In addition to this House Captains and Vice Captains are elected by each house at the start of each session. They have responsibility for planning whole school house events and activities.

equality
We also have a Pupil Equalities Group for P4- P7. Children are interviewed for this position by members of the Senior Leadership Team.

Some sessions we might form other Pupil Groups that link to our whole school priorities for example Maths or Literacy. These groups are supported by class teachers.
