P6 and P7 Grow a 5er Update

Dear Parents/Carers,

Thanks for your patience with Grow a 5er. We have had numerous issues with the MS Forms on the Sways so we have decided to host a selling afternoon on Wednesday 22nd May at school instead of having pupils pre-order items. We will come around and bring children to the P6, P6/7 and P7 classrooms so they have an opportunity to purchase our products. We will also send a reminder email closer to the date so pupils can bring in money for the products.

Thank you and thanks again for your patience and support,

P6, P6/7 & P7 Team

Miss Murray, Mr Horan & Mr Murray

We held our Music Celebration Concert on Tuesday night this week, and what a celebration of talent it was!

We enjoyed brilliant performances from-

Our Glee Club

We also enjoyed individual performances from Maya, Carly and Kayden, who were so brave performing all by themselves!

Broughton Summer Fair- 8th June 2024

Please see the information below shared by the Parent Council FAB Team-

Dear Parents/Carers,

Not long to go until the Broughton Primary School Summer Fair, Saturday 8th June, 11.30-14.30.

This year we have a theme! “Under the Sea”, the title was chosen by the Pupil Council.

We would love to make this year’s Summer Fair an enjoyable event and we need your help to make it happen and be able to offer a wide range of activities.

All Parent Council office bearers have a job and at least one child at Broughton.

Most of the parents/carers don’t work on Saturday so we would love to hear from you.

Even if you help for only one hour, it will make a huge difference!

  1. Please read and complete this form by 8th May:

https://forms.gle/yMNnLq8ksdibxYVp6

2.You can donate any of the following items in advance.

Items will be collected by the school office and Broughton After School Club between 8th May and 31st May.

  and clean pots, foam stickers

 – acrylic markers or paints for rock painting

– strings, beads

If you can help financially, please get in touch directly. (Money donated will be used to buy food and possibly other things that will be donated either to school after the event or kept for future events).

Donations on the day:

  • Cakes for the ever popular BAKE OFF – see the poster attached for T&C

  • Home-baking and cooking, both sweet and savoury
  • Plants for sale (both indoor and outdoor)
  • Fruits
  • Sparkle jars (see a separate poster)

We are looking for someone who would help to deliver our favourite smoothie bike – before the fair and return it to the shop afterwards.

We have been working hard to secure some demos and stalls.

If you know about an organisation that could come and do a talk or have a stall with a display

about the sea life, marine ecosystem or anything connected to the water, please get in touch.

We hope that this email will not be ignored and we can organise for our children the best summer fair ever!

The email address to get in touch is broughtonparents@gmail.com.

We look forward to hearing from  you!
