FAB Hallowe’en Disco!

Thank you all for supporting our Halloween Disco, organised by our Parent Council.  Hope you all had a spooktacular time and have a fantastic Halloween when it comes.  Remember to keep brushing those teeth after treats!!

We raised around £500 from the disco!!  Well done all! (The exact amount will be confirmed at the next meeting.)  This will help improve school playground and fund class trips.  At the last Parent Council meeting, we have agreed to fund tabletop games, and part fund some class trips!  Come to the next parent council meeting to hear more about our spending plan.

The P7s also thank you all for supporting their activities stall and they raised just under £60, from both discos, to go towards their end of year celebration.

Our next event is the playground tidy up on Sunday 3rd November, 1-3pm-see you then!

Here are some Halloween disco photos-

House Team- Playground Games

Our House Team of House Captains and Vice Captains have made a great start to the year!

They wanted to provide some table top games for pupils to play in our Quiet Area, and relaunch the Quiet Area as a place for quieter and calmer play in our playground.

They carried out some research to price a range of table top games they thought their peers would like-

They then submitted a funding request to our Parent Council to ask for help with buying the games they had chosen! It was accepted, and they bought these games…

They launched the new games at Assembly on Friday…

House Team Games Launch Assembly

They introduced the games to the Quiet Area on Monday, and they were immediately very popular! Our Quiet Area has been restored!

Our House Team will be monitoring the playground games as the year goes on, and will be checking if we need to buy more equipment and games!

Well done Team, and huge thanks to our Parent Council for helping to buy these games!
