Big Book of Achievements

Toby Sewell and Alexander McCloy (P5a) both gained a full yellow belt in Taekwondo which means they have completed the full Active Tigers curriculum and have now started the Taekwondo student programme. Well done to both of you!
Indah Collins (P5a) entered a dance workshop challenge at the weekend and got into the semi final for Commercials and earned a certificate!
Indah also represented Scotland with her dance group at a Global dance competition this summer.  They had four entries and won a fourth place, a bronze and two silvers!
Well done Indah!
Rebecca Turpie (P5b) took her Grade 1 ballet exam in June, and found out she had passed over the summer holidays! She also recently took part in her first cricket festival with the Wicketz club! Great effort Rebecca!
Drisana Garai (P5b) was chosen to take part in a cultural ceremony arranged by the Indian Embassy to celebrate the Independence Day of India! Well done Drisana!
Adam Wawock (P5b) took part in a charity walk for Parkinson’s disease in Falkirk. He completed a 5 mile walk in support of his aunt Kinga who has this condition. A good cause Adam, well done!
Iliana Lekkas (P3a) earned a certificate for completing her first ever Maths study! She also worked together with Valentina Ortega Jureckova (P3a) to bake a star cake for the School Fair cake competition. They won first prize! Well done to you both!
Charlotte Slowey (P3b) has moved up to Brownies, has earned level 2 at gymnastics, and has been awarded her 10m medal at swimming! Lots of achievements Charlotte!

Weekend Challenge-Glenogle Poster Competition!

Glenogle Swim Centre are holding a poster competition as part of their 125th birthday celebrations!

Posters should reflect the pool’s history, or present day.

Posters should be A4 size, and have the entrant’s name, age, and address on the back.

Please bring any entries in to school on Monday 25th August to hand in to Mrs Rushforth.
