P1-P7 Families Junior Parkrun

At assembly on Friday Euan from Junior Parkrun spoke to the children. He helps to organise the parkrun for the children that takes place at Pilrig Park every Sunday morning.

We had a great time joining in with a warm up and learning more about why Parkrun is great fun as well as helping us to stay healthy.

Thank you to all the children that came up to the front to show off their running bands. Well done on all your achievements.

Broughton Primary School has now registered as a Junior parkrun school.

Playground Tidy Up!

Compost Corner Transformation! 🌱

The Parent Council gardening team got their gloves on at the weekend to give Broughton Primary’s compost bins a much-needed makeover.

Projects like this only happen thanks to our amazing volunteers, and we’d love more parents and carers to get involved. Come along to our next Playground Garden Tidy-Up to help keep our green spaces thriving — no experience needed, just enthusiasm!

Let’s keep Broughton growing together 🌿
