Our P7 pupils attended a day of workshops at Easter Road stadium. The theme of the day was “Show Racism the Red Card” and the workshops allowed the children to learn about different people’s experiences with racism, and ways to combat this in everyday life.

The children also were given a tour of the stadium, and had the opportunity to attend a press conference, quizzing current and ex-footballers on their experiences of racism. Everyone got a goody bag, and a few lucky pupils won prizes in a raffle, including a signed Hibs shirt!

Overall, a very worthwhile experience, with our P7s demonstrating good behaviour, manners and enthusiastic participation!
