At Broughton our P6 and P7 pupils celebrate their wider achievements through participation in the JASS scheme (Junior Award Scheme for Schools.)
One element of JASS is called ‘Adventure’, and our P7 trip to Lagganlia School Camp allows them to take part in a wide range of ‘adventure’ type experiences and activities.
For our P6 pupils, and those P7 pupils who did not go to camp, Mrs Clark organised an ‘Adventure’ outdoor learning experience, in St. Mark’s Park woods.
The children were involved in problem solving through building a waterproof shelter, and enjoyed fire building too!
The children all had a fantastic time, and what a great example of outdoor learning!
