Schools from all over the city are invited to send a team of P6 pupils to the Edinburgh heat of this quiz, held at the City Chambers. As it sounds, the quiz is about all things European- including geography, history, culture, sport and much more. The winning school from the Edinburgh heat goes through to a national final.
We sent our team comprising of Louis, Jed, Orrick and Agata, and they did the school proud! They have all been working so hard over the past few months, studying maps, flags, capitals, and much, much more in preparation for the Quiz. They had such a good attitude towards the event. Jed said, ” I’ve learned so much already, so winning will just be a bonus!” There were some really hard questions-some Mr Borthwick couldn’t answer!
Unfortunately, we didn’t win the heat, but we impressed so much with our effort, manners and behaviour- a real credit to the school! 10 well earned house points each!
