We had a visit from a very special visitor today. Mr Hairy Haggis came to our assembly today to deliver a special certificate and trophy. His visit was in honour of the fact that for the 3rd year in a row, Broughton Primary have won the Edinburgh Marathon Festival Super Active school award, for the most number of pupil competitors in last year’s children’s races.
As well as presenting us with our certificate and trophy, Mr Hairy Haggis had time to get some photos taken with some of the pupils who took part last year.
It’s only a few weeks until this year’s festival- wonder if we can make it 4 in a row?
