Jenni Longstaff, the chair of our Parent Council and PSA, has sent us some information and updates. This includes the agenda, with some action points from the planned meeting we had to cancel in March, a treasurer’s report from the PSA, and updates on the March Family Fun night Beetle Drive and our Growing and Cooking Project.

As you may have  seen, BBC Education’s new education service – BBC Bitesize Daily – launched on Monday this week.

There are 150 online lessons in English, Maths and other core subjects on the BBC Bitesize website. And there are also new Bitesize Daily programmes broadcast on BBC iPlayer and via the BBC Red Button.

Here is an update from the WWF.  Next week our #LearnToLoveNature campaign shines a light on our coastal seas and provides enriching content for pupils to access and use independently from home.
Starting on Monday 27th April, our coastal seas week will include live learning events via our new dedicated Facebook group, an opportunity to participate in a fun and insightful webinar with a WWF expert, and links to our popular educational materials.

Here is an opportunity sent from the Zoo- join us as we celebrate our very own native Scottish wildlife, with brilliant activities for all ages. Join us as we discover what makes an animal native, examine the different habitats we have here in Scotland and learn about how animals are specially adapted to live there. Look closer at puffins, Scottish wildcats and beavers and go on an amazing animal safari from the safety of your sofa!
