Hello everyone! Happy, sunny Wednesday to you all!
We hope you have all recovered from your efforts during yesterday’s Sports Day! Our Twitter feed is full to bursting with photos and videos of pupils, parents and carers, and staff, all taking part! It’s well worth a look! We’ve also been sent a lot of pictures, available to see in the slideshow below! If you have any photos you haven’t shared yet, it’s not too late to share them with your teacher to put up on the website. We’ll have the house point totals for you soon!
Mr Horan has shared a message from LivingStreets, which ties in nicely with our health week. See details below-
This week’s activity on our updated #walkingfromhome page is to ‘Celebrate’ as we near the end of National Walking Month.
You can encourage your school children to walk for 20 minutes every day as part of their daily exercise and see what benefits they experience. Our #walkingfromhome #Try20 tips and resources can help inspire, whether walking as a family, trying to fit in some exercise while parents are working from home, or taking exercise indoors.
Please continue to share your thoughts, snaps and videos with us by email or on social media #walkingfromhome.
Miss Clark has shared another helpful resource, this time a link to a book called ‘Everybody Worries’, which deals with the lockdown situation. It may be more suited to younger children.
Please see below for a link to a view a webinar, and the chance to sign up for some free samples to Online Spelling activities.
That’s all for today’s post folks! Enjoy the rest of today’s sunshine, and make sure you catch up on all the Sports Day fun on Twitter!
As always, stay safe!
