Hello everyone, and happy Friday to you all! We hope you are all keeping well.
Well done on making it to the end of another week of home learning! We have all been delighted to see all the work you are returning through Teams!
We recorded our first school assembly of the new year this week, which has already been posted on the school website this morning. You can also view it on our secure YouTube channel, Broughton Primary Online, by clicking this link- https://youtu.be/S5PW6NOyfTA
As mentioned in our assembly, we are always looking to celebrate our pupils’ successes in our Big Book of Achievement in assembly each week. Please let your teachers know of these, or post them on to your stage Teams page!
Mrs Gowans sent out a poll this week, to gather parent and carer views on how home learning is going for you all- Follow this link to take part if you haven’t already- https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=af6sSGo3tUKfacnke7-5xJP_nWu9fe1KrE4iV68SU4ZUNk5QSkVJTUVESjVIV1lGUFc3RTZUMDY2OC4u
This week we also added a new ‘Expressive Arts’ area to our website. This will be a permanent home for home learning activities for Art, P.E. and Music. You can access it by going to ‘About Us’ then ‘Class Information’, or by clicking on this link- https://broughtonprimary.org/expressive-arts-2/
We also received an exciting opportunity from the National Theatre of Scotland, who have extended free access to their show ‘Singalong Rapunzel’ until 31st January! See below for more details-
The Singalong Rapunzel can be accessed through the National theatre of Scotland website here https://www.nationaltheatrescotland.com/events/rapunzel#tickets
Select £0 (or you can choose to make a contribution) and checkout. You may need to create an account or sign in to your account if you have one already.
You will receive a confirmation email after you have booked with the page link and full details of how to watch the show and access the activity pack.
Please see our How to Watch guide for help to watch Singalong Rapunzel or contact the team directly with any queries on boxoffice@nationaltheatrescotland.com
That’s all for today, and this week folks. Have a lovely weekend. Stay safe!
