Playground Tidy Up!

Compost Corner Transformation! 🌱

The Parent Council gardening team got their gloves on at the weekend to give Broughton Primary’s compost bins a much-needed makeover.

Projects like this only happen thanks to our amazing volunteers, and we’d love more parents and carers to get involved. Come along to our next Playground Garden Tidy-Up to help keep our green spaces thriving — no experience needed, just enthusiasm!

Let’s keep Broughton growing together 🌿

A.F. Steadman Author Visit!

Today we had a fabulous visit from the acclaimed author, A.F. Steadman! She is the author of the Skandar series of books. Today we were treated to some background to the novel series, a quiz, the chance to create our own unicorn, and the opportunity to buy books and have them signed by the author!

We really enjoyed the visit- let’s hope this visit encourages our children to pick up a book and enjoy reading for enjoyment as often as they can!
