Rainer Kinsey O’Neill (P5b) won a bronze medal at a Taekwondo competition in Linlithgow last weekend! Well done Rainer!
Heather Scott (P1a) completed Stage 6 Swimming, and was named Ballet dancer of the week! Well done Heather!
Arthur Watson (P4b) ran the 1.5K race at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival and raised £185 for Social Bite! Well done Arthur!
Iona Baruah-Young (P3a) recently received her copper medal for piano at Music School. She also danced at the Drylaw Parish Church Summer Fair on Saturday. Well done Iona!
Josh Hay, Risay Bin Hazhatta Idaham and Joseph Hood (P7) took part in a football tournament with Leith Athletic, and they won without losing any games! Well done to you all!

Our Glee Club took part in the Regional Final of the Glee Competition at the Usher Hall last Friday! Just getting to this final means they are in the top 9 out of 33 South East of Scotland Schools! Sadly they didn’t make it through to the National Final, but we are incredibly proud of them all for performing with such enthusiasm and talent! Well done team!
Max Macleod (ESB2) has spent a lot of time planning and creating his own Plushie toy! He is very proud of all his efforts, and so are we! Well done Max!

Cihangir Ates (P6a) was named the best golfer of Brunstfield Links Golfing Society’s Golf team in the Golf Sixes League. Well done Cihangir!
Toby Sewell (P4b) scored 3 tries in the last game of the season with Lasswade Rugby Club. He worked hard on his rugby skills every Sunday. Well done Toby!
Callie Brattley (P3b) has been working so hard on her swimming, that she has moved up a level! Well done Callie!
Maddie Ellis (P4b) climbed her second Munro, Beinn Narnain. It stands at 927 metres (3038ft) and Maddie made it to the top, with some scrambling! Her whole hike was over 10km! Well done Maddie!
Dougal Jumar (P4b) climbed his first Munro, Meall nan Tarmachan, in the Easter holidays! He also made a Victoria Sponge cake all by himself! Well done Dougal!

Viksha Manjunathaswamy (P6a) took part in in her first gymnastics competition at Meadowbank Sports Centre last Sunday. While she didn’t bring home a medal this time, she performed beautifully and gave her absolute best effort. Well done Viksha!
Carly Law (P6a), Ege Ozener (P7b) and Viksha Manjunathaswamy (P6a) all took part in an Instrumental Music Service for the Benedetti Foundation at Meadowbank Sports Centre this week. They joined 400 other young musicians, and after some rehearsals they were part of a phenomenal performance for parents, which was met with a standing ovation! Well done all!

Odette Anstoter (P2a) climbed Arthur’s Seat with her brother. They both made it up on their own! Odette also had a lot of fun at the seaside looking under rocks for crabs and other sea creatures. She found a starfish and was brave enough to hold it! She has now learned a few interesting facts about starfish! Well done Odette!
Celia Gray (P6b) recently took part in her first swimming gala and won a gold for breaststroke! Well done Celia!
