There has been a huge amount of sporting activity in and around Broughton Primary recently!
Games at the Hub
P6 pupils attended ‘Games at the Hub’ at Broughton High School, an EPSSA organised event where they could compete in a range of sports. Our pupils took part in rugby, football and basketball tournaments.
Interscholastics
Broughton sent a team to the annual Edinburgh Schools Interscholastics Athletics event. Our athletes took part in a range of events, and showed great effort and enthusiasm.
Our team were as follows-
P6- Eugen Boleac, Douglas Harper, Hayat Obaid, Mohammed El-Fateh, Ruth Adler, Katie Telford, Rania Ely and Alisha Iqbal
P7- Ben Rushforth, Daniel Cooper, Rhys Armit, Arthur Roberts, Modu Dia, Cammy Chambers, Paige McLeish, Sumayyah Aslam, Eva Kelly, Caitlyn Cowan, Robin Brough, Ruby McGoldrick and Wisal Chergui
Special mentions- Our P7 Girls Relay team, who qualified for the final, coming in 5th! Arthur Roberts came 6th in the final of the P7 Boys Cricket Ball Throw, and Paige McLeish, who qualified for the final of the P7 Girls 80m sprint, coming 5th!
