We hope to see as many of our parents and carers involved as possible!
Welcome Back!
Welcome back everyone!
We hope you have all enjoyed a restful and relaxing summer holiday! We look forward to seeing you back tomorrow.
Please see attached a graphic that shows where classes will be lining up this year. When the bell rings, class teachers will come out to collect their class and will have a sign for their class to help guide you to them! Parents of P1 pupils, we know that the arrangements for the start of term are a bit different for you, but the graphic still shows where your classes will line up eventually!
See you tomorrow!
End of Term
We certainly had a very busy end to our summer term this week!
On Wednesday we held our P7 Leavers BBQ in the school playground and Gym Hall. There was lots to eat and drink, games and dancing.
On Thursday we held our school talent show, Broughton’s Got Talent. We were treated to an amazing range of talents; baton twirling, cello playing, gymnastics, magic tricks, live art, Rubik’s cube tricks and drumming. We also had performances from our P6 cellists, our Active Schools Dance Group, Maya playing her flute and our Glee Club! So many talented pupils in our school!
Friday was a special day for our P7 Leavers. They spent some time getting their school jumpers signed by the school pupils and staff. Then we held a special Leavers Assembly, where each of the P7s was presented with a leaving gift and a Yearbook. This was our chance to celebrate all P7 have achieved and wish them well for the future! We also announced the House Point totals for the year, to decide who would win the House Shield this year!
1st- Drummond– 20258 points
2nd- McDonald– 19630 points
3rd- Trinity- 18726 points

Well done Drummond!
We were able to give our P7s a stylish send off, as they were piped out of the school by Louise, our amazing piper. The school clapped along as the P7s came down the stairs, and they were treated to a few tunes in the playground too! We’d like to wish our P7 pupils all the very best for the future. We’ll miss you!
It’s been a really busy year, and we’d like to thank our amazing pupils for all their hard work and enthusiasm, in what has been an unusual year as we have tried to get back to a sense of normality in school! Thanks also to our brilliant staff too, for all their hard work and efforts in supporting our pupils. We want wish those staff and pupils leaving us all the very best for the future, we will miss you! Special mention to long serving members of staff Mrs Cowan, retiring from our school office, and Miss Bradley, who leaves to take up a new post at East Craigs Primary.
Last but not least, to all our parents and cares, thanks for all your support this year!
We are all awesome! #teambroughton
We wish you all a very happy, sunny and restful Summer break! We hope you all have a great time, and look forward to seeing you all again on Wednesday 17th August.
